Amanda Donohue-Hansen

Amanda Donohue-Hansen is a Managing Director of Cultivian Sandbox and Sandbox Industries. Prior to Cultivian Sandbox, Amanda held product management and business development roles in Cargill’s Food Ingredient business, including launching new plant protein and starch ingredients and supporting operations for its hydrocolloids and functional systems businesses. Amanda joined Cargill in its Corporate Strategy and Development group, where she contributed to strategies in the animal nutrition, grain origination and trading, salt, and energy sectors.

Amanda represents Cultivian Sandbox on the board of directors of FarmlandFinder and supports the Fund’s investments in Conservis, Copper Cow Coffee, Corvium, Culture Biosciences, Descartes Labs, and Geltor. She earned her MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where she was a leader of the GSB Impact Venture Fund and a recipient of the USA MBA Fellowship. In addition, she holds a BSB in International Business and a BA in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Minnesota. She is an aspiring green thumb, foodie, and nature enthusiast.
