Robert S. Bucklin
Robert (“Bob”) S. Bucklin was Vice Chairman of North America Wholesale banking for Rabobank International. He was responsible for the Wholesale Clients business (Corporate Banking, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Food & Agribusiness Research and Advisory) and Corporate Communications function in Rabobank’s U.S., Canada, and Mexico banking operations. He recently retired in July 2013.
Mr. Bucklin has more than 39 years of banking experience. Before joining Rabobank, he was President and Chief Operating Officer for First City-Dallas bank from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, he was President and Chief Operating Officer for a Sino-U.S. joint venture between First City Texas Bank Group and the Bank of China.
Mr. Bucklin holds a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He played varsity football at the University of Illinois and was twice named to the NCAA “Academic All-America” college football team.
