Full Harvest has developed a marketplace for produce that would otherwise go to waste on the farm. The Company collects surplus and imperfect produce directly from farmers. Food and beverage companies purchase this produce on the marketplace to save on food cost, while farms receive additional revenue.
Full Harvest is able to provide a solution to satisfy both sides of the market by providing food and beverage companies discounted produce and providing higher margins to farms. The farmer sells surplus or imperfect produce at a 50%-60% discount and the buyer saves 30%-40% of the cost.
Full Harvest is initially focusing on leafy greens and other fruits and vegetables, primarily in the California market.
