enEvolv engineers microorganisms to produce bio-based products. The technology, which was developed at three world-class research labs (George Church of Harvard, Farren Isaacs of Yale and Jay Konieczka of MIT), allows rapid genetic improvement of fermentation microbes, condensing into months the work which now takes years.

enEvolv was acquired by Zymergen in March 2020.
